Barbie Clothes 1

You know one of those life-thingies? I'm seriously concidering getting one. In the meantime however, I decided to make a really good gift for my cousins for once. I have four female cousins under the age of 10 and they like barbies. My project now is to make nice packs of barbie clothes for each one. I'm thinking in the range of 6-10 outfits each but we'll see when my enthusiasm for this runs out. For now at least seven each seems plausable.

First off: Knitted hoodie and harem pants.

The hood is oversized and the hat I made just because my model is approximatly 40 and loosing her hair. The pants... What can I say? I copied a pair I previously made for my self and I used wa-haaaay too much detail on these. The keys are an old necklace I decided to re-use for this project.

Office outfit:

The pants are waist-high, the shirt has a little bow in the front and the vest is lined.

I will repeat that: The vest is lined. NOW do you understand why I was concidering getting a life? I will have to live the rest of my life knowing I lined a barbie vest.

Dress and jacket:

The dress is very basic, the jacket has a high collar, two hooks and hidden eyes for fastening and a contrast lining. After the vest lioning a jacket wasn't that bad.

Summer dress:

Twisted top, thin twisted yarn for straps.

Black evening dress:

Beige evening dress:

Three-colour dress, the two sides are of a slightly different colour, it just doesn't show that well on the pics.

So here's what I've done in the past two days. I'll post more as I get them done.
